John’s Little Script is a powerful, but easy to use membership site software.
The creator of the software mentioned that many people don’t need all of the bell’s and whistle’s…especially if your goal is just to create a simple password protected site. His analogy was that you don’t need a brick to swat files. There are so many powerful membership site scripts out there, but they’re overkill in many cases.

Create Membership Very Easily
I’ve installed and tested out a bunch of scripts. I’ve even created my own membership site script…and so far, nothing compares to the simple installation process of John’s Little Script. If you know how to upload files, that’s as difficult as it gets. Simply upload the files and run the installer. In 1-2 seconds, you can install the software with barely any effort. If you need help, it does contain video tutorials that are very easy to follow.
Protect Directories
This makes the software even more simple. Just upload a bunch of data (ie. web pages, video, or audio) into the protected directory. It’s that simple. All files within the folder will be protected. If you’re really trying to hide content and give no “detailed” hints to your visitors, then this is a great solution.
Easy Registration
New members are prompted to enter their username and password. Some other softwares auto-create usernames and passwords…then customers forget their own password since their password provided was cryptic and not easy to remember. Having a registration form up-front allows people to easily pick their own easy-to-remember login data and gain access to the secure content.
Easily Kick Out Members
Why would you want to kick them out when they paid? Imagine if 1 member emailed their username and password to a hundred of their friends. Wouldn’t that suck? You can configure JLS so that the system will automatically boot out a member if they did do that. This is a powerful function that many membership sites scripts do not have.
Payment Processors
It doesn’t matter if you’re using Paypal or some processor in another country. JLS will work with just about any processor. The software comes with instructions for Paypal, Clickbank, and 2Checkout. If you need assistance with other processors (ie. the ones outside the U.S.), just watch the the videos included. They will provide you with an understanding of how to set up the membership site script with other payment processors.
