JV Manager versus John’s Little Script – What’s the Best Membership Site Software For You?
There are various ways to password protect a web page. When choosing a the right software for your membership site, you will need to decide what your goals are ahead of time. In this article I’ll be going over a few membership site software applications that we’ve tested out: JVmanager and John’s Little Script.
JV Manager is more than just a software that password protects your web page’s. It’s a full business management software. However, just because JVmanager has a bunch of bell’s and whistle’s, it does not mean that it is the best solution for everybody.
To find out what’s best for your situation, I’ve provided the following information:
1) JV Manager includes an integrated affiliate tracking software. John’s Little Script (JLS) does not. However, you can use JLS with Clickbank and Paydotcom which both include affiliate tracking systems.
2) JV Manager can run multiple membership sites (and non-membership sites) from 1 centralized panel. You can easily monitor sales from a single domain…without the need of installing software separately on other domains that you manage. JLS requires that you install the script on each domain.
3) John’s Little Script is easier to setup and understand than JV Manager.
4) John’s Little Script can limit logins based on IP’s. You can set the maximum number. JV Manager alone does not do this.
5) You can use John’s Little Script and JV Manager together. This will allow you to limit IP’s using JV Manager 1 and eliminate the grey login box that most protected directory sites use.
